Prof. Leeor Kronik Co-Inventor Prof. Kronik is a Senior Scientist of the Weizmann Institute of Science, where he heads a computational materials science research group that concentrates on predicting properties of nano-materials and spintronics materials with the help of a super-computer. In 1999, he joined the University of Minnesota to work on first principles calculations of materials properties, first as a Fulbright Scholar and later as a Minnesota Supercomputing Institute Research Fellow. Prof. Kronik has published over 50 scientific articles and is a member of the American Physical Society and the Israeli Chemical Society. In 1996, after completing his PhD, Leeor joined the Israel Defense Forces for mandatory military service. Born: 1970 Prof. Ron Naaman Co-Inventor Prof. Ron Naaman started his career at the Weizmann Institute studying reactions of van der Waals molecules, using various lasers for diagnosis. He was in the group pioneering the Coulomb Explosion method for obtaining the structure of ions and small molecules. In the course of this work he developed (together with Prof. Zeev Vager) the Microsphere plate as a device for amplifying electrons current. A company (El-Mul Ltd) was established for commercialization of the device. For the last 15 years Prof. Naaman has been working on various aspects of the electronic properties of molecules. In the course of this work he developed with others (Prof. David Cahen and Prof. Avi Shanzer) the Molecular Controlled Semiconductor Resistor (MOCSER) as a new type of sensor. The MOCSER is currently employed as an asthma detection system in collaboration with Chiaro Ltd. In the course of these studies Rons research group developed expertise in controlling the surface properties of metals and semiconductors using adsorbed organic layers, transferring information through supra-molecular structure and electron transmission through organic layers. Prof. Naaman has published more than 140 scientific papers, has 10 patents in his name, and has instructed more than 15 graduate students. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society. He spent two years at Stanford University as a postdoctoral fellow holding the Weizmann fellowship, and then a year at Harvard University as a lecturer. Since 1981 he has been a faculty member at the Weizmann Institute, and he was the head of the Chemical Physics Department. Prof. Naaman holds a B. Surya brings with him a rich experience of more than two decades with a track record of growing sales revenues multi-fold in multiple geographies at global majors including Oracle Financial Services, HP (Emitac), HCL, etc. Surya has spent more than 11 years with Oracle Financial Services (formerly i-flex solutions) having responsibilities for different markets across EMEA and North America. He has been credited with opening several markets and delivering significant and consistent sales revenue of their banking product. His last position at Oracle Financial Services was Vice President-Sales. Surya is passionate about software products and volunteers at iSPIRT. Sagar Thakurdesai Global Head Human Resources. Sagar Thakurdesai is the Global Head Human Resources of 3i Infotech. Sagar joined 3i Infotech in October 2012 and comes with a corporate experience of over 15 years, having worked across multiple industries namely Media, Internet, Financial Services and Retail. Prior to joining 3i Infotech, Sagar was heading the Human Resources function at STAR CJ Network India Pvt. Ltd. (A 50:50 JV between STAR TV 038 CJ group from South Korea) where he was responsible for setting up the HR function and launching the business as per plan. Prior to that, Sagar had worked with ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company, eBay 038 STAR TV where he was exposed to the various facets of HR from Talent Acquisition to Organisation Development 038 Capability. In his current role, Sagar drives the HR agenda for the organization across all its businesses and geographies. He is also part of the Senior Management team and is involved in shaping the strategy for the organization. Sagar is B. He holds a Bachelors in Physics, Masters in Foreign Trade, GNIIT amp Masters in Systems Analysis amp Management Development (PMD) with an overall experience of 19 yrs. Jeelani was heading Bancassurance, Alliances amp Channels for HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co for 2 years. Prior to that, he was the VP for Bancassurance with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co Ltd. He was with ICICI for 10 years in various capacities as a Team Leader, Sales Manager, Region Head, Business Manager etc. He has also worked for 4 years in Saudi Arabia as a Sales Consultant for AlMajoudie Hyundai Auto. Currently he is entrusted the Sales and PampL responsibility for Middle East and Africa region. Ram Sankar Chief Financial Controller, North America. Ram is a finance professional with over 15 years of experience spanning the entire gamut of finance, including Business Finance, Controllership, Strategic Initiatives Domestic amp International Taxation, Treasury, Risk Management and Global Compliance. Prior to joining 3i Infotech, Ram has worked with JTS Technology Limited, PKF Sridhar amp Santhanam, ICICI Bank, ICICI International Limited and ICICI Securities. Ram holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from Bharathidasan University and a qualified Chartered Accountant. Prasad comes with a broad experience in all aspects of the IT consulting business, deep tech knowledge and most of IT business domains amp platforms. He has worked with American Infoserve Inc, Mahindra amp Mahindra, Mafatlal Finance Co Ltd. prior to joining 3i Infotech. Prasad holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from Pune University.
